Christine Hamm is a psychiatric social worker and has a MA in Creative Writing. Her poetry has been published by Poetry Midwest, Rattle, Snowmonkey, the Absinthe Literary Review, the Adirondack Review and many others. She was recently a finalist in the Atlanta Review International Poetry Contest. Her chapbook, The Salt Daughter, is forthcoming from Little Poem Press in 2006.
She has taught several poetry workshops in New York City and she is the literary editor of Wide Angle, a monthly cultural journal based in Queens. In 2004, her poetry was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Visit the gallery.
