Print: $16.95 They thought the series couldn't get any larger in size when this came about but 40 pissed off authors get together and contribute stories to the flagship anthology of Lake Fossil Press. Edited By Nickolaus Pacione and Introduction written by Joseph Armstead (author of Endless Nocturne.) Featuring Ken Goldman, Everette Bell, Barbara Marjanovic, Casey Gordon, Michael Raymond Robinson, Cynthia Saccarco, B.L. Morgan, Jr, and Terry Lloyd Vinson are part of this incarnation and the most frightening incarnation of the series. More authors inside. Keep reading. Anthologies are like a skyscraper, the higher you climb -- the more frightening the fall. When you thought it was all done, but in truth, that is when something macabre this way comes. Horror the way it is meant to be designed -- scary as all hell. Rated: R for Intense Horror Content

Disc: $12.00 This is a CD-ROM of all four Tabloid Purposes anthology plus extras including the press release for the series and extra commentary from the editor. One CD-ROM, four anthologies all Tabloid Purposes. Tabloid Purposes as a series is a dirty word in the small press, now to make that anthology choke on the people who pirated the series all along. I wanted to do something to make it easier to get copies to everyone since there had to be about 90 authors who I worked with on the entire series. All four anthologies for under $10.

Disc: $13.80 This is an experiment to see if all the anthologies can be seen from the DVD, this might work from a PS2 for best results in reading the anthology but not sure if this works. It is a test but if it doesn't I am going back to the CD rom version.

Print: $8.99 A5 Large Print Edition: A dark vision of the future via the author Nickolaus A. Pacione. Set during the year 2013, this is a future that no one wants to imagine can happen and inspired by those films that the Discovery Channel put out. This is his first attempt at doing a cyberpunk style Science Fiction story. Rated PG-13 for storm menace. Think what happens when technology survives the Mayan Calendar. No one really knows what the future holds especially the not too distant future. What does the year 2013 look like? This is one of those futures that can be a posiblity. As morbid as it seems, one can ask the question what if and this could be one of those what ifs. This is the what if no one wants to see, but this is one of those that are unavoidable. Inspired by the Quakes and Storms Relief Anthology, namely Trent Roman and Erin Mackay.

Want more information about where you can submit to anthologies like Tabloid Purposes and other anthologies -- I will have the guidelines up on Ralan.com. Also I have contests on WritersCafe.org running from time to time. I will be paying the overall author payment of $25 for their story and a chance to win signed books and duplicate books to what I own in my collection. DVDs will be duplicates to what I have and they will be brand new. I will post information on the myspace.com blog but that one is private. The public stuff can be seen here.
The contest was inspired by the story published in Cinsearae Santiago's magazine -- being I am the only non-fiction author and traditional horror writer in there. The story is twice reprinted now. Some of the anthologies will be announced in private because some publications I will publish are non-fiction such as More Frightening Than Fiction. If you want the story The Pattern Of Diagnosis, I will not make that story available for free -- you have to get it in The Ethereal Gazette: Issue Five. Issue Six is now available for purchase too. If you see a person who goes on lulu.com as "pacionenickolaus" block them because they are an imposter.
In Praise of LEVIATHAN'S GHOST, final story in TABLOID PURPOSES
"Move-over Jaws - this is the quintessential shark story.."

Update:
Want to see the guidelines for the sixth issue, pay attention and as of after October I will be able to afford to pay higher rates again. I am starting as soon as possible to send money back to authors I owe money to for their appearences on the magazine. The payrates are up for the sixth issue and if you want to contribute follow the link (I am reversing the issues -- issue seven is going to be the local issue issue six will be what was Issue Seven. Issue Seven -- I am looking for the local authors instead but I am going to continue to feature local authors in the magazine, just seven will be exclusive to local authors. Photos will be required for Non-fiction submissions. The 6 x 9 Trade Paperback version is available now on lulu.com so go there and grab a copy of the anthologuy.
The photo to the left is with another Chicago based writer is an author who had me do a signing at Electrohell. If you want more information about his book go here, the book is called A Dark Obituary For A Common Man. The photo above is holding a copy of Collectives In A Forsaken Landscape. You can also get Tabloid Purposes IV in the new 5 x 8 trade paperback size too. I already got a few threats because that new book is out but the only way they can really stop that book is this -- are they willing to serve a life sentence without parole about it. This book is An Eye In Shadows. Look for a review of this one coming from Cinesrae Santiago since she's publishing a non-fiction story of mine in her magazine. Also if you want some books signed at Gothicfest 2007 please get them ahead of time since the event is less than a month. You can get House of Spiders 3 on Carmillas Backroom for $9 and they have free shipping so you can get this in time for the event. This place is a friend of my publisher, Naked Snake Press and check out what Donna has on lulu.com. Grab Collectives before the event.
This would be the trade paperback of the book. Get these three books to unlock a special giveaway item. This would be the link for the 5 x 8 paperback of Tabloid Purposes IV on CafePress.com. Lulu.com is always going to be the home of Tabloid Purposes but I was trying someting and this might be home for additional projects just so I have something to work with. If you want to know more about the guy in the photo with me and his own book, click on the photo or by clicking here. Tabloid Purposes IV now has an ISBN (the 6x9 versions have it. Then check out the promotional anthology as listed above.)
The feed on the right is to the LiveJournal.com Goth Community I helm. Make yourselves at home on here and if you have a vlog you're more than welcome to do the vlogs on here. Also I updated my main website, Writings From The Grave and also made all four anthologies available as a CD-ROM and a DVD, so if you want to test this out go right ahead. I haven't had a chance to do so myself.
