You are responsible for the formatting and layout of your work before you publish it on Lulu.

If you need help with these pre-publishing tasks, Lulu offers some design, editing, ISBN, marketing, and other great services. These Lulu Services are available as the Starter Pack, Advantage Pack, Marketing Pack, or as Individual Services. Lulu also has the Lulu Services Marketplace where independent service providers are vying for your attention.

In addition you can peruse the Lulu Forums where our expert users provide many tips and tricks for preparing your manuscript. Search the Help on the site for the answers to your questions before posting to the forums though.

If you purchased a Service Pack, a form should have come up with information we need to get started on your book. If a form did not appear please email us. If you purchased an Individual Service, you should be receiving a "Welcome!" email shortly. This email will ask for some details; just respond and we can begin the work for you.

Well we don’t know exactly. Some of it will depend on the service or services you chose and some of it will depend on the creative juices flowing in our collective subconscious.

But we do know...

• Formatting will take up to 10 business days.
• Pro Cover will take up to 10 business days.
• Custom Cover will take up to 4 business days for the first draft and 2 business days per revision.
• Technical Review will take up to 10 business days.
• First Chapter will take up to 2 business days.
• Press Release will take up to 2 business days.
• Conversion will take up to 2 business days once we receive the correct format.
• Web design will take up to 20 business days.

These times are for the Lulu Services. If you purchased a service through the Lulu Services Marketplace you will need to contact your Service Provider.
