Love the book!!!However, considering the authors, I expected nothing less. You gals did a great job. And I’m very proud to be part of “Pieces”. I look forward to the “cabin fever” months ahead to experiment with all the wonderful patterns.THANKS

Huge congratulations are in order for you and Judith on the lovely work you did on the book. It is GRAND to say the least!!! I can only imagine how much hard work and time went into it. I also love the end section as well that has a quilt clip from the actual submitted piece near the contributing artist’s name - you think of everything!

This book has not only provided me with inspiration but better approaches to an upcoming project of center medallions for prize ribbons (last year it was faux dichroic glass look w/ PC/Utee resin)for an upcoming quilt show. It also was primarily read by flashlight as we were without power for the last 7 days! Thanks!

Outstanding. Looks like the quilts that my Mother used to make and the patterns she used. I am a quilter also and these look like you could put them on your bed or hang them on your wall. Instructions are very clear. I especially like the addition of other color schemes to try with each patterns. It inspires you to do more and to create your own color schemes. Great work!!!

I was so happy when I heard that Judith and Sarajane were planning a book focusing on polymer clay quilt patterns. A few years back polymer clay was an important part of my life and my favorite canes of all were ones of quilt patterns. I have read through this book thoroughly and think both the directions and photography are first-rate. I am even feeling a pull back to the polymer clay world after looking at the new quilt patterns I never had the chance to try. This book is a must-have for anyone interested in polymer clay quilting. Great job Judith and Sarajane!

When I got your book in the mail, I sat right down and read every page from front to back page. It is terrific!!! It’s better than I had expected. I have already recommended it to quite a few people. I will be teaching a group of basket weavers the basics of polymer clay caning in February. I’m sure this book will inspire them. Specifically, the nine patch variation. I can’t wait to make a few example canes to show at my workshop. Thanks for doing this research and for your continual inspiration.

Well, the long awaited book I ordered from you (Adapting Quilt Patterns To Polymer Clay) arrived today and it was really worth the wait. My wife quilts extensively and I have started a Masonic jewelry business (I am a Master Mason) and clay quilt-art business. Already I can say this book is going to advance my career in Polymer Clay Art. Thank you again and Happy Holidays,

I received my book…wow, you two did such a fantastic job. Had a few minutes to sit down and browse through it last night and I’m so impressed….the quality and clarity are _superb_. Congratulations!

I received my copy of “Adapting Quilt Patterns to Polymer Clay” a few days ago and I want to tell you it is even better than I expected. The photography is excellent, as is the layout. I haven’t had a chance to make any of the canes yet but the instructions appear to be clear and concise and I don’t think I will have a problem following them. Thank you, Sarajane and Judith, for writing this book. It is a wonderful addition to my craft library.

I predict that this collaborative effort by two of polymer clay's most innovative, gifted, and articulate artist/teachers is going to rapidly become a classic in the libraries of those who enjoy working with this versatile medium. It is chock full of innovative and new ways of using polymer clay. The many colourful pictures of the inspiring "eye candy" are wonderful. The directions for the techniques and projects are very clear and easy to understand and accompanied by numerous photographs and diagrams. There are samples of work by other polymer clay artists as well. The pictures of the polymer clay quilt shop and bolts of polymer clay "cloth" alone are enough to make one want to purchase the book!
